Wish you guys kept the northstar name and design. Loved it better *Hey, this is Tyler with GP chiming in. Odyssey actually purchased the Northstar brand name and then deleted it. They are though running their batteries through the Northstar factories here in Springfield, so they are the exact same internally as the Northstars. Thank you for your order.

Glad to have a quality battery made here in the USA
I am doing a high output alternator upgrade to my truck, and also adding a secondary battery, so I decided to upgrade both batteries to heavy duty type 34/78's. After much research I chose to get the Northstar's through GP, but they were switched over to Odyssey. These batteries are all beef. They are extremely heavy. They are AGM style, non serviceable. The top comes with a carry handle, which can handle the 50lbs weight of these. The top terminals are high quality brass. The batteries have GM footings, which are great, however, because of the raised ribs, they will not fit entirely under the lips of the GM tray. This causes the front slide block to sit up a little and requires a new bolt to be used, which is a M6 x 1.25 x 65 or 70. Battery tightens down great. What was an extra was that when I received them, the batteries were at 100%. I did not need to charge or condition. They were packaged well for shipping. I'm very happy to have the Odyssey Extreme Series AGM in my truck. I don't suspect I will need a new battery for some time.
