I didnt want to review until installed but wow. Heavy. Compact. On a mechman 240 and 2 runs of 2/0, double big 3, at full tilt voltage did not drop below 12.2 at full tilt at .5 ohm AT IDLE on my synergy 35.1 this is well worth the money. Arrived resting at 12.89 amazing recharge rate. Id take this over those other batteries any day! Thanks again GP!

Get this battery
I have a couple of friends running these and they love them. I was running 200 AH of powerware batteries and replaced them both with a single 220, and now hold better voltage. The battery has a very slim design, its under 5 inches wide and fit beside my enclosure perfectly. it takes up little space, and is effortlessly powering my 3500 watt setup. I bought the GP 24 bus bars also and they look great and fit the battery perfectly. Thanks GP, will be back when I'm ready to upgrade my wiring.

Unreal power on hand!
Got this smsagm220 to run my Soundqubed Q4500. I have a 99 Tahoe with a Mechman 270, xs power D3400 (will be replaced by a group 34 Northstar), all ofc 2/0 wire, double big 3, two runs to the back, chassis double ground in the back where the 220 lives. Full tilt drops to 13.2v and recovery is very fast. I am will only run Northstar from now on! If you are thinking about running this battery you will not be disappointed!

Great battery
Did a full sound system on a jeep commander and used Northstar AGM94R as the primary battery and used Northstar SMSAGM220 for the secondary battery the system in musical playing with about 4000watts rms i did not see a voltage drop under 13.2 volts i highly recommend northstar batteries.Thank you.( very impress with this batteries)

Battery is good...now I need a bigger amp and alternator.... oh..if you email or Facebook Gp...they respond quickly...ps...I'm running 2 sundown zv5 12s 2000 rms each .....4 prv 8s ...250 rms each...4..supertweeter 50 rms each.... oh..I also have a smg31 up front....from Gp.... buy from Gp....northstar is the best....oh my amp 5000 rms for subs..2000 rms for voice.. this battery can handle it ...jus make sure u run 0 gage ....2 runs to the back....
