Q: This is much thicker than all other deadeners, do I need to worry about it fitting behind trim panels
A: Not at all, the Acoustic Foam layer serves as a decoupler, and easily compresses behind trim panels, making everything overall more solid in the vehicle.

Q: Do I use a heat gun for application?
A: A hairdryer can be used during the application process, we suggest using a roller, and a hairdryer being sure the deadener makes 100% contact with the surface, a heat gun can cause damage to the acoustic foam layer. The high grade butyl can be applied without additional heat in warmer weather, and will not come off. For non flat surfaces, be sure to cut into pieces when applying as it is easier to be sure you make full contact with the surface you are applying to.

Q: Will I notice a difference once installed?
A: Yes, on the sub stage in all testing using sound measuring equipment, we have seen anything from simple gains on the db meter at peak frequencies, to a tremendously widened bandwidth where the vehicle gains overall across the musical range. These results will vary from vehicle to vehicle.

Serious stuff!
Ordered the GP STFU mat knowing i've heard online it was a pretty great product. Once i got it my expectations were completly blown away. Hands down the best mat ive ever used in a build. And i couln't be anymore happier with it. i highly recomend this to anyone that wants to help stop rattles and decrease road noise. And not to mention how much louader my system has gotten after getting it laid in. Thanks again GP i will be returning to buy the rest of the mat to do the doors and roof.

Great quality product.
Ordered 20 sq. ft. GP STFU 250 for the doors of my '02 F250 7.3 Did the doors 7/4/16. They now sound solid and quiet the ride some. After the first door the rest were easy. I look forward to the big job of doing the entire inside of the crew cab. Imagine , a quiet old 7.3.

easiest deadwner ive used to date
This stuff really surprised me. It's thick, yet still flexible and easy to manage. It's by far the stickiest deadener I've ever used. The quality Is amazing as well, very durable and makes a big difference in acoustics. I plan on ordering quite a bit more for this and future builds. Highly recommend this.
