Meet the Sundown Audio InHuman — the subwoofer that exists only for the moments when "loud" has already lost all meaning. This is 7,500 watts RMS of purpose-built devastation: an 18" limited-edition monster riding a Quad-Stack 330mm ferrite-and-neo motor structure that generates a force factor roughly 2.5x that of the legendary SDDN, all anchored to Sundown's patented Tooled Frame (US D741,841). With a custom-tooled carbon fiber cone, a 5" eight-layer flat-wound aluminum voice coil, 41mm of linear one-way excursion, and an FS that drops to 18–20Hz after break-in, the InHuman was engineered from the ground up for one job — annihilating 6th-order bandpass demo builds and producing hurricane-force wind. At nearly 190 pounds with mandatory motor support, this isn't a subwoofer you install; it's a statement you commit to. Buckle up.

The InHuman is what you get when massive just isn't enough – it can only be described as monstrous. Built on our legendary, patented 18" Sundown Tooled Frame (US D741,841) – perhaps the only frame on the market fit for its absolutely enormous Quad-Stack 330mm magnet motor structure. The InHuman can be considered the big-brother to the SDDN model featuring a similar design philosophy of absolutely maximum motor force factor (BL^2/RE of over 1,000) – in this case around 2.5x as powerful as the acclaimed SDDN.
It was made primarily for one purpose – devastating demo builds with 6th order band-pass enclosures. This is the only application it is recommended for, although some customers may find success in ported enclosures - it can be tricky due to the QTS figure being below the 0.2 range. Additionally it features an incredibly low FS to excel in wind production (FS will fall to around 18-20hz after full break-in period). It was purpose-built for hurricane-force winds.
We have pushed the limits of what is possible with a primarily ferrite motor structure (it also features a Neo pole cap) – the InHuman weighs in at close to 190 pounds and not just for show (the motor force factor makes this quite clear). It features drilled & tapped bolt holes on the back-plate for mandatory motor support – even with out 10+ pound cast aluminum frame this motor is so enormous it still requires additional support.
The spider alone has dozens of hours of computer FEA work in it and it supports excursion up to the limits of the frame itself. This extreme travel combined with the massive motor force required an entirely new triple-joint ring design as well that is proprietary to the InHuman. It features a full 40mm tall glue joint contact area. It is only available with a foam-core carbon fiber sandwich cone as nothing else would hold up to these extreme conditions.
This is a limited edition unit designed for the most outlandish builds possible. Buckle up and prepare yourself for the experience.
